Opened in XX, the Hotel Pulitzer has remained one of Barcelona’s most successful Design Hotels. Natural light invades all floors through exterior windows and an enormous skylight illuminates the common areas. On the ground floor, a serene interior garden connects the restaurant and lobby, a composed space that is popular for gatherings and informal meetings on the art deco-inspired, leather sofas. A dramatic lacquer red Imperial Chinese cabinet dominates the bar area, and dark hardwood floors add to the east-meets-west ambiance. Throughout the hotel, bold abstract art, book-lined shelves and the intimate configuration of the furniture lend a sense of privacy and comfort.
